Third day of work... it was eventuful. LIES ... well semi lie. I spent two hours filing, literally how crazy is that? Then did like 15 minutes of training, 1/2 hour of interviewing some 50 year old man, hour and ahlaf of tutoring english (which isn't my job WTF) and anohter 45 minutes of "checking" emails faxes and voicemails. So how exciting is my job?

Oh what! I forgot the best part!! I set off the alarm. Now I know what you all must be thinking, its prolly something like "WTF" which I believe was Mok's reaction when I told him on msn earlier. Let me tell you a story. Okay I think rule one of dealing with new employees is tell them what they are doing. So when I'm the first person into the building not only do I have no idea what opening procedures are but I'm welcome to the scary surprise of an alarm going off. No not any alarm but the security alarm. Of course I have no password to make this alarm go off aside from some fleeting memory of what the girl training me the day before did. She punched in a code and said "don't worry, if you forget just ask someone." Great advice when I'm the first person in. So I get some happy phone calls from the security system and my boss as I finally figure out how to shut off the blasted thing (is it a good thing I guessed the code?)

Anywho thats my adventure of the third day of work, setting off the building security and spazzing out at the poor dude who had to call the place and check up. *nods* It was an interesting day

So today was the first day of work and as always it was le suck. lol is it really that surprising? walked in and the first thing I'm told is I'm teaching English. Bam that was a low blow. Then I realize I'm surrounded by people who speak Cantonese over English, add to my joy as I now stand their dumbfound. Overall not a bad day of work I suppose, its all simple work that a monkey could do (i.e. check email... this should take me an hour, oh whoop de bleeping joy). The thing thats driving me up the wall is the work hours. So I work Monday to Friday 11-5 except Wednesdays where I work 1-8. This equates to 31 hours which is 9 hours less then the 40 I want to work. So my options? Ask to work an extra hour a week which only puts me at 36 but thats an extra $40 a week, $160 a month and $640 in my entire work term. Or I can cut back that hour and hope to god I can score some form of a retail job which will let me work 5- close on weekdays minus wednesdays and whatever time they want on weekends. Neither of these options are quite as happy as I'd like them to be.

Blah I need to make $5000 over this coop term how le suck is that?

Anywho the schedule is tentative for May and June only, and I wonder if it will be any better July or August. Cuz if I work 9 hours short of my target per week for 2 months that means I need to somehow cover 180 hours in two months... so basically instead of working an 8 hour day I need to work a 9 hours day ... or is it 10 hour day? I Don't know its all crappy. I don't even know how to deal with this. So much stuff to figure out

Also still trying to figure out if I'm going to do bartending school Its the 27'th now (although my post will say 26) and I need to hand in a form by the 31st. So totally not enough time especially since I need to shell out $150 for the course as well as $45 for a cert and whatever random money its going to cost me to commute to the DT every sunday. Oh joyful bliss. World why do you hate me?

This is going to be an interesting summer to say the least. Must make more money. Or spend less...

Which brings me to story number two. Went shopping on Saturday with Bren and Sabel. We spent over $600 cumulativley. With Bren spending the bulk of it. Good day though, perused Sephora, purchased a whack load of clothes, ate at the rainforest cafe, had some subway adventures, ate gelato, slept over at bren's, had dinner at sabel's. All in all good. If only it hadn't cost me like $200 to do it all. Oh well I love my clothes... now to get matching shoes.

Okay so now I'm home and actually going to do a proper post. Albeit I'm not sure what a proper posts entails but I figure a nice little update of what the summer is going to hold will be necessary. I'm going to be working as a Summer Education Activity Organizer at some tutoring center on Warden and Denison, that starts May 2nd. I'm going to try and pull off bartending school which starts June 10 but I need some people to go with me *tear*. I need to pick out courses for fall term (which I've nerdly done already) just need to register them now. Must send out email to the housemates detailing what furniture we have and blah blah, w00t I think I got a futon for the living room how awesome is that ^_^ ramble ramble

Gonna go to pacmall in awhile mebbe to meet up with Isabel and buy an inflatible mallet, gonna go to Yorkdale with Bren and Sabel on Saturday and shop it up.

Kit's BBQ is May 21st and I still gotta figure out if I'm going to anime north (which I really dun think I am, gomen hui... I think the extra blood on that tshirt is gonna be my blood...)

and my movie list of awesomness for ther summer includes

I'm sure there's more that I just can't quite recall at the moment but I think thats good for now :)

Its nearly 5 am on my last day in University of Waterloo as a first year. I'm surprisingly awake conidering I slept quite little the previous day due to exams and interviews but I think its because it is the last day I don't want to miss anymore time here.

I think I can safely say that this year has been one of the best years of my life. I think i truly lived in certain moments while here, I've been able to experience a lot of things that I never thought was possible and I've met so many people whom I never want to forget or lose - although it is inevitable. I've been able to recieve so much in sight on myself and the way that I am. It has truly been an adventure.

Who can I even begin to say thanks to for making this year the way it was. Realistically there is no point in saying it since you know if you made an impact or not. Just thanks.

I am going to miss residence quite a bit actually, the close proximity of people, the easy access to precooked food, the short walk to class. This in itself was something I would never be willing to give up, this experience, this escapade.

I'm so scared that when I return home I'll lose the experience the moments of living the brief pauses where everything is just right and nothing matters and living is life where as usually acting is life. I'm going to miss it here and while its only four months so much can change I can honestly say I'm scared.

South 3, East 4, V1 caf, Tim Hortons, SLC, Williams Coffee Pub, how I adore thee. When you get wherever you are going, take a moment, take a breath, let the sun set, grab a friend and walk. What you'll find is beyond amazing.

I'm officially done first year. All my exams are finished, I have a coop job (already I know I'm proud) and all in all its been a good day. Too bad we didn't get that chance to meet. Tomorrow heading back to the Toronto and I'll do the proper leaving university post then. Now I'm going to go relish my remaining moments.

Its getting closer, the impending departure, and it would be a lie to say I didn't feel something.
My interview is done, there is only one more exam and I leave tomorrow. I should start packing... but I don't want to.

Sending set number 2 of my crap home tomorrow. Also getting shoes tmr from home cuz i'm foolish and sent them home when i have an interview on Monday. w00t me, too bad i'm going up against Ian and Kevin and a crap load of otherAsian kids. Not cool, not cool at all.

School's nearly over, only really going to be here another 4 days ish 3 nights even. I'm quite sad, this impending issue with the co-op ness is problem one, finding another job will be problem two. The lack of cash, the thoughts of second year, the not wanting to go home, the missing of the people. There is just so much to be wondering. Blah, just not a fan of this entire responsible school and blah blah blah. I should sleep, or I can watch more X-men or Clone High... mmm TV

It's still not settling in. That school is nearly over. Jeebus its not really even settling in that I have exams now. Such a sad event that my mind can not even begin to comprehend. It will be an interesting next 4 months, at home. But not really. I shall miss it all...

Three of five exams are done. Classical Myth and Economics still to go.

Got an interview today for some random summer cooridinator job, its quite odd it sounds like a mix of school and summer camp all in one. But a job is a job and that is happy news. Too bad the interview is on the same day as my economics exam. Le sigh.

I have a headache ... and I must do laundry...

take me from this world and place me in a safe place. stop the tears from spilling and bring them back. make it go away just make it all go away. its no longer beautiful anymore. its all gone back to the darkness. monochromed stained world i've returned. the technocolored beauty has faded. i've missed you. now i am back in your prison. how i loathe you. they roll off my tongue faster then i can catch them. the words that are not said but are felt. what is vocalized falls on deaf ears. i can't help but wonder. what could have been. what should have been. what was. my time is almost up. goodbye cruel world. hello sordid fate. stray from my path. clear the skies. it is so beautiful. lost at this forked path. to choose would be to care. worthless words. dead inside. can you feel it. look at the souless eyes and tell me. cry.
