AH!! busy arse weekend haha.Part 1 - Canada's Day! with all da giftee crew~
- went to milne
- played frisbee/football/talked
- ate icecream, jerk chicken, popcorn chicken, roti and curry chicken, meat on a stick, chips, peanuts etc. (not all by me)
- watched as Terence got his wood in Serena's pants
- watched Jason put his head under Lo's shirt by his bum
- got free freezies from a truck Rob was driving
- got too cold and left to Ken's house
- talking to Grace on the phone Long D
- got OWNED by Serena in Monopoly
- watched Jim try on a seashell bra
Part 2 - Live8 with Terence, Jay and Lo
The Good
- Tom Cochrane and Life is a Highway
- Simple Plan blatantly swearing
- Tom Green bringing a joint on stage
- EVERYONE booing Celine Dion
- Having Bob Geldof say something about the Toronto concert and having the Barrie locals get pissy
- Not having to wait in an uber long line a la Christina and Andrew
- Having awesome seats in front of the cameras and a big screen
- Getting free Chocolate
- Sam Roberts not looking uber hobo-ish
- watching the cute french punk band
- OLP AND JET!! <-- enough said
- Leaving early and avoiding traffic
- the clueless expression on Jet's face when the Canadian anthem was sung
- the tamborine!
The Bad
- The number of people who chain smoke around us
- The number of people who HAD To walk around us
- The old/hic/gross/skanky/skivvy/hippy people around us
- The old people trying to be young and cool
- Great Big Sea not singing their singles
- The burning burning heat
- the luke warm water
- the overly expensive tshirts
- the probable sunburn
- the newly achieved layer of skin that was made of dirt
- EVERYTHING ABOUT MOTLEY CRUE
- Leaving and missing Bare Naked Ladies and DMC
The Random
- The surplus of pot smokers there
- The use of things being Key and Huge.
- The two guys with the huge baggy of weed
- the snappy thing with Will Smith (it was kinda cool)
- the live feed of other concerts (cool to watch, depressing we weren't there)
- Bryan Adams and Gordon Lightfoot actually being kinda cool
- Watching the surprise finale at Lo's house
- the many many number of harmonica's
- free dinner at Swiss Chalet
- Jason sipping his Chalet Sauce
- Jason spitting ice into his chalet sauce, then the same peice of ice on to Lo
- Jason cutting himself on a fry
- Terence never sitting down during the concert
- the fact that you could rub layers of dirt off your skin as you were sitting in the concert
- wiping our arms with napkins in the restaurant and them returning brown
Overall much of the fun :). Hope it continues as I head off to Waterloo for a week. ^_^ Good Times
